DC Handal turns on 240kW DC Charger at Sunway Carnival Mall

There are now more EV Chargers at Sunway Carnival Mall in Seberang Perai, Penang as DC Handal has deployed a 240kW DC Charger.

Prior to this, the only fast chargers available at the mall are Tesla Superchargers which are still exclusive to Tesla vehicles only.

With the latest deployment, DC Handal now has a total of 27 EV Charge Points inclusive of the 23x AC Charge Points deployed in May 2026.

The new DC Handal chargers are branded Zeekr Power and they have deployed an Autel 240kW DC charging solution with a total of four bays. It is located on the ground floor at the East Entrance of Sunway Carnival Mall.

These chargers are priced at RM1.40 per kWh and you can activate it by tapping your credit or debit card at the card terminal. The terminal also accepts TNG eWallet QR payment as well.

Alternatively, you can also activate these chargers via app using Gentari Go, ChargEV and JomCharge.

In total, DC Handal has 4x DC charge points and 23x AC Charge Points at Sunway Carnival Mall Penang. The previous free chargers have been replaced by cabled 22kW AC Charge Point units which are priced at RM1.00 per kWh.

• Zone A Level CP3 – 12x 22kW AC Charge Points (Pillar G2 to G7)
• Zone C Level CP4 – 5x 22kW AC Charge Points
• Zone B Basement – 6x 22kW AC Charge Points (Pillar H13)
