Nothing has officially revealed the new Phone (4b), its latest entry-level smartphone that sits below the Phone (4a) series.
Despite its more affordable positioning, it retains several signature Nothing features including the Glyph Bar, transparent-inspired design and Essential AI tools.
It also packs the brand’s biggest battery ever in a smartphone with a capacity of 5,200mAh.
Nothing Phone (4b) Malaysia pricing and availability

In the UK, the Nothing Phone (4b) is priced at GBP299 (about RM1,629) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant.
For context, that’s GBP80 cheaper than the Nothing Phone (4a), which starts at GBP379 (about RM2,066) and is currently priced at RM1,999 in Malaysia.
Global open sales begin on 17 July 2026 but Nothing says pricing and availability for Malaysia will be announced at a later date.
The Phone (4b) comes in 3 colours – Black, White and Blue.

The Phone (4b) features a 6.77″ Super AMOLED Full HD+ display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, HDR10+ support, up to 1,200 nits outdoor brightness and 2,000 nits peak brightness. It also offers a 1,000Hz instant touch sampling rate for improved responsiveness for gaming.
Powering the device is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor, paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. There’s a 256GB variant which is currently exclusive to India only.
The device runs on Nothing OS 4.1 based on Android 16 and Nothing promises three years of Android OS updates plus six years of security patches.

In the camera department, the Phone (4b) gets a 50MP main camera with OIS and EIS, accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide camera with a 119.5° field of view.
Over at the front, it features a 16MP selfie camera that sits in a punch-hole. The device supports 4K video recording at 30fps and introduces dual video capture, allowing users to record simultaneously using the front and rear cameras. Nothing also includes its TrueLens Engine 4 with Ultra XDR computational photography, along with new creative filters and presets.

Like its siblings, the Phone (4b) features Nothing’s signature Glyph experience through a refined Glyph Bar that consists of 45 individually controlled mini-LEDs with up to 3,500 nits brightness. As a comparison, the Phone (4a) features 63 precision mini-LEDs.
The Glyph Bar can be used to display notifications, charging progress, recording indicators and customised alerts without having to wake the display.
Other notable features include dual stereo speakers, IP64-rated dust and water resistance, a 4,400mm² vapour chamber for cooling, native ChatGPT integration, Google Gemini, Circle to Search, and the Essential Key that provides quick access to Essential Space, Essential Search, Essential Voice and Essential Apps.

The Phone (4b) is equipped with a 5,200mAh battery, making it the largest battery ever fitted to a Nothing smartphone. For folks in India, they are getting the larger 6,000mAh battery instead.
It supports 33W wired fast charging, which can charge the battery up to 50% in under 30 minutes. Nothing also says that the battery is also rated to retain up to 90% of its original capacity after 1,200 charge cycles thanks to its impact-resistant Safe Cell Technology.
