Thinking of trying Gentari Go’s EV charging membership plan? In conjunction with the launch of the BYD Atto 2 this weekend, Gentari Go is introducing a short term Power Pass Lite Membership plan where you can enjoy 50% off on all EV charging on Gentari’s charging network for 3 months.
This membership plan is great for users who rely on Gentari’s EV charging network, especially for those who don’t have a home charger.
This Power Pass Lite membership is offered exclusively at the BYD Atto 2 Launch venue at Heritage Valley, KL. It’s happening from 25th to 27th July 2025 (Friday to Sunday), between 9am to 7pm.
The Power Pass Lite Membership costs RM250 and it offers 50% off for EV charging on Gentari’s network for 3 months. For the first 50 subscribers who sign up, you’ll also receive RM25 Gentari Go credits.

With the current promo and free RM25 Go Credit for early bird customers, essentially, the membership costs RM75/month. Gentari has clarified that this Power Pass Lite membership plan is open to all, not just for BYD owners.
If you’re not a Gentari Go user yet, the first 100 users who sign up at the BYD Atto 2 event will also receive RM30 Go Credits. Gentari Go is also offering exclusive Gentari goodies during the event.
Typically, Gentari’s DC chargers are priced between RM1.60 per kWh to RM1.80 per kWh. With this 50% off membership plan, DC charging would cost less than RM1 per kWh (RM0.80 to RM0.90 per kWh).
In addition, the membership also unlocks additional features such as AutoCharge and the Trip Planner feature.

To recap, the normal Gentari Go Power Pass Plan costs RM899 per year and it allows you to enjoy 50% off for all AC and DC charging on Gentari’s own EV charging network for one year.
At the time of writing, Gentari has yet to reveal the “FUP” (Fair Usage Policy) for this Power Pass Lite membership plan. As a reference, the annual Power Pass plan has a cumulative discount cap of RM2,400 per year.
We’ve been told that the Power Pass Lite is a one-off plan. If you plan to continue with the membership, you’ll need to sign up for the annual option which costs RM899 per year.
Besides Gentari, other Charge Point Operators ChargEV and DC Handal have also hinted at a new EV charging membership plan which will be unveiled during the BYD Atto 2 launch. It was hinted that the membership plan costs RM500 and it will be available on 24th July 2025.
