BMW has officially launched the 2026 BMW iX line-up in Malaysia. Announced back in January, these 2026 models are essentially the facelift version of the electric SUV, which was first introduced in Malaysia back in 2021.
At the moment, the variants that are available in Malaysia are the BMW iX xDrive60 M Sport Pro and BMW iX Drive45 Sport, which can be obtained at all authorised BMW dealerships in Malaysia starting from this Friday, 25 July.

While the 2026 BMX iX still generally looked as muscular as the original iX, some changes were made to its exterior. These changes include a redesigned BMW kidney grille, which now features diagonal lines.
The BMW kidney grille for both 2026 BMW iX variants for the Malaysian market also comes with Iconic Glow that illuminates in white when you drive them and pulses when their door is opened or closed. In addition to that, these newly facelifted electric SUVs also feature a new adaptive LED headlight design.

Aside from aesthetics, the newly facelifted BMW iX also offer improvement in terms of performance and range. BMW said that these improvements came from fine-tuning the drive system as well as new battery cells and inverter technologies.
