OpenAI rolls out GPT-6 and Intelligent UI: Here is what you need to know

OpenAI has rolled out Intelligent UI to 1.2 billion weekly ChatGPT users.

The feature replaces long text blocks with interactive graphics, maps, and custom tools inside the chat stream.

What is Intelligent UI and how does it work?

Intelligent UI automatically generates interactive visual interfaces based on prompt context. Instead of plain text, the model builds clickable diagrams, live maps, dynamic forms, or functional mini tools depending on the query.

Behind the scenes, OpenAI uses a library of streamable design components paired with an inline compiler.

As ChatGPT generates its answer, the compiler builds the visual layout progressively in real time. New interleaved thinking also allows the model to process data and output visual results simultaneously, cutting web search wait times by up to 44% compared to older models.

How GPT-6 Sol and Luna compare to Astra

This update does not introduce a brand new AI model. Instead, it adds the Intelligent UI design layer on top of OpenAI’s existing GPT-6 family.

Free accounts use GPT-6 Luna for quick tasks, standard paid accounts use GPT-6 Sol for general work, and Pro subscribers keep access to the top tier GPT-6 Astra.

Compared to older GPT-5.6 models, these engines deliver better accuracy, smarter web searches, and stronger security.

ChatGPT Intelligent UI price and availability in Malaysia

The update is available globally across web and mobile apps.

Plus, Pro, Business, and Enterprise subscribers receive GPT 6 Sol with Intelligent UI, while Free and Go tier accounts access GPT-6 Luna with Intelligent UI.

Pricing in Malaysia remains unchanged. The entry-level Go plan costs RM24 monthly, while the standard Plus plan costs RM99.90, and the Pro tier costs RM420 per month.

Free tier accounts can access GPT-6 Luna with basic interactive features at zero cost.

Is ChatGPT Intelligent UI worth paying for?

Intelligent UI makes ChatGPT cleaner and more visual by removing unnecessary paragraphs.

However, this update is a user interface redesign rather than a leap in core AI capability. The Sol and Luna models driving the experience are existing engines wrapped in a new interface.

Free users gain a useful upgrade without paying extra, but subscribing to Plus solely for these visual components is hard to justify unless your daily workflow depends heavily on interactive tools.
