Perodua has announced a special Malaysia Day rebate for its first fully electric offering, the Perodua QV-E. With the reputation as the first homegrown EV in Malaysia, QV-E is one of the very few EVs in Malaysia that is currently priced at under RM100k.
Originally offered exclusively with a battery leasing plan, customers have since been able to buy the QV-E through outright purchase. Perodua has also reduced the pricing of the EV back in June, but with the new Malaysia Day rebate, QV-E has just become even more accessible.
Perodua QV-E Malaysia Day Offer

In conjunction with the upcoming Malaysia Day, Perodua is offering a RM10,000 cash rebate for the QV-E. This offer is available for both the battery leasing plan and outright purchase.
Not only that, the RM6,500 time-limited rebate that was announced back in June is still valid with the new Malaysia Day promo. So, technically, the total rebate we are looking at here is RM16,500.

So, this is how the QV-E pricing looked, inclusive of these rebates:
- Perodua QV-E with battery leasing plan: RM53,499 (previous price: RM63,499)
- Perodua QV-E via outright purchase: RM77,499 (previous price: RM87,499)
Meanwhile, the all-inclusive monthly fee for the battery leasing plan remains the same at RM215. Considering that the duration of the plan is 9 years, the total fee of the battery leasing plan is RM23,220.

Once you add everything together, the total cost of buying the Perodua QV-E through the battery leasing plan is RM76,719. With that, the difference between the QV-E battery leasing plan and outright purchase is only RM780.
