TNB Electron has just turned on its largest EV charging site yet, located in Seberang Jaya, Perai.
Deployed at Wisma TNB Seberang Jaya, the new location has a total power capacity of 480kW that’s shared across 8 bays.
As part of its opening campaign, EV owners can enjoy complimentary charging for one day only.
For this location in Perai, TNB Electron has deployed a TELD DC Charger solution that consists of 8x DC charge points. Like most TNB Electron DC charge points, it costs RM1.50 per kWh.
The TNB Seberang Jaya location is open to the public daily from 7:00am to 10:00pm.
Take note that each nozzle is rated at 250A. This means a 400V EV can only get a maximum of up to 100kW while 800V can get up to 200kW.
No app is required to charge at this location. Just tap and pay using your credit or debit card at the provided JuiceUP terminal.
As usual for new TNB Electron sites, they are offering free EV charging as part of its testing period. EV owners can charge for free at TNB Seberang Jaya on Saturday, 15th August 2026 from 7:00am to 10:00pm.
