If you’re waiting for Apple’s new foldable smartphone and its upcoming iPhone 18 Pro series, we now have a date.
Apple has just confirmed that its next keynote event is happening on 10th September at 1am Malaysian Time.
They have dropped its event teaser that shows a glowing Apple along with the theme “Surprise and Shine”.
As usual, the keynote event can be watched via Apple’s website and it will also stream live via its official YouTube channel.
What to expect from Apple’s keynote on 10 September?

Firstly, this is the first Apple Keynote without Tim Cook as John Ternus officially takes over the CEO role on 1st September 2026.
Unlike previous Apple Keynote events, there’s a big shakeup for the new iPhone announcements. This year, Apple is expected to reveal the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max flagship smartphones, while the more affordable iPhone 18 is said to be release next year.
Of course, the biggest highlight would be Apple’s first foldable smartphone that’s speculated to be called the iPhone Ultra. This would be the biggest change to the iPhone lineup since the release of the iPhone X in 2017.
Since Malaysia is among Apple’s first wave countries, Malaysians can expect to place their pre-order for the new iPhone 18 Pro as early as the immediate Friday (11th September), followed by its local availability on the following week (18th September).
That’s assuming if Apple continues with the same arrangement as the previous years.
However, the new foldable iPhone might not be getting a mass release as the device is said to be limited to a few countries including the US and China. Unlike the candy bar iPhone, the Apple Foldable might get a phased global release similar to the iPhone X when it first came out.
Of course, Apple could also introduce new updated and refreshed accessories which may include a new Apple Watch Series 12, Apple Watch Ultra 4, new Apple TV 4K and HomePod mini.
With the global RAM shortage, you can also expect higher price tags for these new Apple products. Just recently, the Cupertino tech giant have announced the new Mac Mini and Mac Studio which start from RM3,799 and RM10,999 respectively.
The only new Apple product which didn’t get a price increase is the new Polishing Cloth which is now sold at a reduced price of RM39.
