DC Handal has just turned on its new EV chargers at Pearl City Mall which serves the Bandar Tasek Mutiara area of Simpang Ampat in Penang.
With a total of 4 EV charge points, this is an ideal EV charging stop for Pearl City Mall visitors especially those dropping by to shop at C Mart Premium.
The DC charger has a maximum output of 60kW, and currently it is the most powerful charging site in the Simpang Ampat neighbourhood.
DC Handal has deployed a standalone 60kW DC Charger with two CCS2 nozzles, and two 22kW AC charge points at the outdoor carpark area.
Like any DC Handal location, you can activate and pay for charging without using an app as it accepts contactless credit and debit cards at the card terminal. The card terminal also accepts TNG eWallet QR payment.
Alternatively, you can also activate the charger via ChargEV, JomCharge and Gentari Go.
The DC Handal chargers at Pearl City Mall Penang is priced at RM1.20 per kWh for DC Charging and RM1.00 per kWh for AC Charging.
In case you missed it, DC Handal has recently deployed a total of 27 EV charge points at Sunway Carnival Mall. This includes a 240kW DC Charger with four bays and 23x 22kW AC charge points in the indoor carpark across three different zones.
