If you’ve been thinking about getting Apple’s most affordable laptop, now might be a good time to pull the trigger.
The Apple MacBook Neo is currently available at one of its lowest price yet on both Shopee and Lazada, with discounts of more than RM300 off its official retail price.
At the time of writing, the MacBook Neo with 256GB storage (which retails for RM2,499) is listed for RM2,174 on Shopee and RM2,181.07 on Lazada.
If you need more storage and additional security features, the 512GB variant (which retails for RM2,899) is going for RM2,574 on Shopee and RM2,539.28 on Lazada.
To recap on the specs, the MacBook Neo features a 13″ Liquid Retina display and is powered by Apple’s A18 Pro chip with 6-core CPU and 5-core GPU. It comes with 8GB of unified memory and is available with either 256GB or 512GB of SSD storage.
The MacBook Neo’s 36.5Wh battery can provide up to 16 hours of usage. The MacBook Neo is also equipped with WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. There’s also 1080p FaceTime HD camera, dual side-firing speakers with Spatial Audio, dual-mic array with directional beamforming and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The laptop is available in Silver, Starlight, Sky Blue and Midnight colour options. If you’re considering the higher-storage model, the 512GB variant also comes with Touch ID for fingerprint authentication.
