Ryt Bank continues to offer its 4% p.a. savings rate as part of its December Rewards for the 12.12 season. However, customers would need to spend using Ryt Bank to maintain the 4% p.a. interest rate.
On top of that, the digital bank continues to reward loyal customers with cashback offers for both local and international spending, as well as transfers via Ryt AI.
Ryt Bank CEO Melvin Ooi said, “Malaysians told us they want a bank that delivers great savings, real cashback, and smart tools
that make life easier.”
“We’ve kept the 4% p.a. interest because it matters, and built on it with Ryt Card, Ryt AI, and Ryt PayLater – giving customers
more ways to earn and manage their money effortlessly,” he added.

For December, users can continue to enjoy 4% p.a. daily interest for Save Pockets but you’ll need to collect 5 stamps every 30 days. To earn the stamps, you can either spend using the Ryt Card or make a JomPAY bill payment.
For the first month, Ryt Bank is offering 2 free stamps, meaning you’ll need to make another 3 successful transactions in the first month to unlock the 4% p.a. daily interest rate. After that, just keep spending or pay bills as usual to collect 5 stamps every 30 days to continue to enjoy the 4% p.a. daily rate. As usual, there’s no lock-in and the interest is paid daily.
As a comparison, the main Savings account currently offers 3.00% p.a. interest which is also calculated and credited daily.
Ryt Bank is also offering 1.2% cashback up to RM12 for the month when you make a payment at MyDebit merchants. This includes Secret Recipe, FamilyMart, 7-Eleven, Tealive, MyNews, Lotus’s, Mr DIY, Guardian, 99 Speedmart and over 300,000 physical merchants nationwide.
If you’re travelling overseas, Ryt Bank is still offering unlimited 1.2% cashback on all eligible foreign physical card transactions with zero FX fees.
On top of that, you can also earn up to RM5 when you use Ryt AI to perform transactions which also includes JomPay payments.
