So, the AirPods 4 series is now out in Malaysia. But what if earbuds are not your thing? Apple will gladly offer you its updated AirPods Max, which has also been made available in Malaysia. Just in case you’re wondering, this isn’t an all-new model but is an updated version of the AirPods Max that made its launch back in late 2020. More on that later.
AirPods Max Malaysia pricing and availability
As announced on its launch date, the AirPods Max is priced at RM2,499. If you drop your order for the AirPods Max now, you should be getting your new AirPods Max as soon as the 15th of October 2024, no matter which colour option you pick.
Like with the AirPods 4 series, you can only choose to have your AirPods Max delivered to you, as the option to pick it up from The Exchange TRX Apple Store is yet to be made available.
What’s new with the updated AirPods Max?
First things first, just in case you’re wondering, this isn’t an all-new AirPods Max, but is instead an updated version of the one that launched back in late 2020. One of the most notable changes made to the AirPods Max is its new USB-C port, replacing the old Lightning port.
To keep it looking fresh, and probably the best way to show off to your friends that you have the new AirPods Max, Apple has dressed it up with new colour options. This includes Midnight, Starlight, Blue, Purple, and Orange to keep it looking fresh.
Besides that, the AirPods Max still retains its familiar look, featuring a digital crown for you to control the volume of your music, and is still equipped with active noise cancellation (ANC) capabilities. Powering the AirPods Max continues to be Apple’s H1 chip and a 40mm dynamic driver.
