Machines warehouse sale 9-11 June: iPhones starting at RM699, iPads at RM749

Machines, the Apple authorised reseller, will be having their latest warehouse sale on 9 June onwards. Located at Hall 1, Level 5 in Starling Mall, Petaling Jaya, the first day of the warehouse clearance sale will be exclusively for Machines+ members while on 10 and 11 June the sale will be open to the public. You can expect to find iPhones, iPads, MacBooks, desktops and other Apple accessories on offer during the sale.

Some things to note of before you head to the Machines warehouse clearance sale include the fact that all items sold at the sale will not come with a warranty from Machines, with demo units in particular not coming with a manufacturer warranty too. Anything you purchase from the sale is non-refundable, non-exchangeable and non-returnable, with all items sold on a ‘as is’ basis. iPhone

Scouring the devices list on the Machines warehouse clearance sale website, the cheapest iPhone available looks to be ex-demo units for the iPhone SE 64GB, priced at RM699. Incidentally, it doesn’t mention if it’s the 2nd generation iPhone SE from 2020 or the latest one from last year, but available colours include Black, Midnight and Starlight; only the latter two colourways are available on the 3rd generation iPhone SE, while Black was an option for the 2020 iPhone SE.

If you prefer a sealed brand new iPhone meanwhile, there are also sealed units on at the warehouse sale. These include:

iPad

The cheapest iPad on offer at the Machines warehouse sale will be an ex-demo unit of the WiFi-only iPad at RM729, though seeing as it’s a 32GB model in Gold colourway, it’s likely an 8th generation iPad. There is also the 6th generation WiFi-only iPad Mini 64GB priced at RM1,199, the 11″ WiFi-only iPad Pro 64GB at RM2,099 and the 12.9″ WiFi-only iPad Pro 128GB at RM2,699.

If you want the newest 10th generation iPad, you can find open box units of it at RM1,699 for the 64GB WiFi-only option, and RM2,199 for the 256GB WiFi-only model. There’s also the WiFi-only iPad Mini 6 64GB open box unit for RM1,999, while the cheapest iPad Pro open box unit is a WiFi-only 11″ iPad Pro 256GB for RM3,099.

As for sealed units, the cheapest one during the Machines warehouse sale will be a WiFi-only iPad Air 64GB for RM2,249. The cheapest iPad Pro meanwhile is an 11″ WiFi-only iPad Pro 128GB at RM2,709.

Mac

If you’re looking for a new computer instead, the cheapest Mac at the Machines warehouse sale would be an ancient ex-demo 2014 Mac Mini with an Intel Core i5, 4GB of RAM and a 500GB hard drive at RM829. Realistically though, you’re much better off with an M1 Mac Mini, with can be found for as low as RM1,199 during the sale.

As for laptops, some notable ones on sale include ex-demo M1 MacBook Air units with 256GB of storage going for RM2,899, an ex-demo M2 MacBook Pro 13 256GB going for RM3,799 and an ex-demo M1 Pro MacBook Pro 16 with 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD at RM7,499.

Just like before, the sealed units will cost a little more, with a sealed M1 Mac Mini 256GB priced at RM1,499 during the sale. You’ll also be able to find an M1 MacBook Air with 8GB RAM and 512GB SSD at RM3,999, an M1 MacBook Pro 8GB/256GB at RM4,199 while the MacBook Pro 14 starts at RM7,299.
