Great Wall Motor (GWM) has unveiled a new Ora Good Cat colour option called Pistachio Green. Available exclusively for the range-topping 500 Ultra variant, the Pistachio Green version gets a light green exterior while the inside features a funky dual-tone appearance with several extras.
To recap, the Ora Good Cat is priced from RM139,800 for the 400 Pro version which gets a rated mileage of 400km (NEDC). Meanwhile, the higher-spec Ora Good Cat 500 Ultra is priced at RM169,800 and it gets a larger battery which boasts a rated mileage of 500km (NEDC), plus a couple of extras including blind spot detection, lane change assist, emergency lane keeping, door open warning, extra speakers and a driver memory seat.
Whichever version you get, the Ora Good Cat in Malaysia gets a single electric motor powering the front wheels and it pushes 105kw (141hp) and 210Nm of torque. It has a rated maximum speed of 152km/h and from our testing, it can get from 0-100km/h in 9.3 seconds.
In terms of charging, it supports AC charging up to 6.6kW while DC charging is supported up to 60kW. The Good Cat 400 Pro with a 47.78kWh battery takes 32 minutes to charge from 30-80% via DC charging while the 500 Pro with a larger 63.14kWh battery takes 40 minutes.
Going back to the Good Cat’s Pistachio Green version, the interior gets a two-tone green-beige interior and it even gets a paw-shaped design on the centre armrest. Also new are vibrant orange accents along the aircon vents and on the lining of its dual-tone seats. The rest of the car remains unchanged and it still gets a fully electric panoramic sunroof and massaging feature for the driver’s seat.
