Samsung Galaxy M14 5G Malaysia: This budget 5G phone with 6,000mAh battery is going for RM849 on 24 May

If you’re looking for a new 5G phone under RM1,000, Samsung Malaysia has announced the arrival of its Galaxy M14 5G. This is a new budget mid-range device that comes with a large display as well as a massive 6,000mAh battery.

Samsung Galaxy M14 5G Malaysia Price

The Samsung Galaxy M14 5G with 128GB storage retails for RM1,099 in Malaysia. In conjunction with LazMall Super Brand Day, the device can be yours for only RM849 (Save RM250) on 24th May 2023 via Samsung’s LazMall Flagship Store. According to the store’s listing, the Galaxy M14 5G is offered in Dark Blue or (light) Blue.

The Samsung Galaxy M14 5G features a 6.6″ Full HD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it runs on a 5nm Exynos 1330 chip paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. If you need more storage, the device supports microSD card expansion up to 1TB.

In the camera department, it gets a modest triple-camera setup at the rear which consists of a 50MP main camera, and two 2MP shooters for depth and macro. Meanwhile, the tiny notch on the front houses a 13MP selfie camera.

Powering the Galaxy M14 5G is a large 6,000mAh battery. According to Samsung Malaysia’s product listing on Lazada, the Galaxy M14 5G gets two generations of OS updates and 4-years of security maintenance. If you need a phone with a longer software support, the Samsung Galaxy A24 priced at RM999 comes with 4 Android OS updates and 5 years of security updates.

At the moment, Samsung Malaysia has yet to provide the device’s full spec sheet on their website but based on India’s specs, the M14 5G supports 25W fast charging via USB-C.
