If you’ve been topping up your Touch ‘n Go card from a CIMB Bank ATM, take note that the service has been discontinued. According to CIMB’s announcement made on 28th April, the TNG card reload service on their ATMs will not be available from 2nd May 2023 onwards.
As a result, Touch ‘n Go cardholders will need to top up from other various TNG reload points. Prior to this, TNG cardholders who are also CIMB customers can reload their cards via CIMB Bank ATMs with zero reload fees as opposed to other outlets that charge RM0.50 per reload. You can find the list of TNG reload locations without reload fees here.
For greater convenience, you can get yourself a new Enhanced Touch ‘n Go card with NFC functionality which lets you reload directly using the TNG eWallet with an NFC-enabled smartphone. This is the easiest way to reload the card as it can be done instantly with zero fees. The card retails for RM10 each and you can purchase one online. Take note that the new Enhanced card has a validity period of 7 years instead of 10.
