Following the launch of the Nothing Ear (2), Nothing is currently having a promo where they are offering a RM100 discount for its Ear (Stick) wireless earbuds. These are the brand’s hard-tip in-ear headphones and they were originally priced at RM469.
From now until 30th April 2023, a new pair of Nothing Ear (Stick) are going for RM369. You can purchase it online via the official store on Lazada and Shopee, but you’ll have to apply the RM100 voucher. The discounted Ear (Stick) is also available at on-ground retail stores such as Urban Republic, DirectD outlets, TMT Outlets, Vivid Concepts Stores and Tac Mobile Stores.
Unlike the Nothing Ear (1) and Ear (2), the Ear (Stick) comes in a cylinder-shaped case that looks like a lipstick. Instead of an in-ear tip, the (Stick) uses a half-in ear design with hard tips that are designed for better comfort for long-term usage.
It features a larger 12.6mm dynamic sound driver and boasts a longer battery life of up to 7 hours or up to 29 hours in total with the case included. Instead of swipe controls, the (Stick) can be controlled using press controls on the stem.
Being the cheaper wireless earbuds, the Ear (Stick) lacks active noise cancellation and wireless charging. The case can be charged via USB-C and a quick 10-minute charge is said to provide up to 9 hours of listening time. There’s also in-ear detection and IP54-rated dust and water resistance.
In case you missed it, the Nothing Ear (2) is now widely available in Malaysia and it’s priced at RM599.
