It added that the battery’s discharge currents are quite low, especially for streaming video and phone calls, which is an indication of a well-optimised device.

When it comes to battery life, the Galaxy S23 Ultra with its moderate 67 hours of usage is ranked #3 in the ultra-premium category. It is positioned behind the ROG Phone 6 (72 hours) and the iPhone 13 Pro Max (68 hours). Globally, the Galaxy S23 Ultra’s battery life is ranked at #20 behind several mid-range devices.

With a maximum supported charging rate of just 45W, it is slower than its Chinese smartphone rivals, putting it at the #13 spot among the ultra-premium flagship device category and overall #44 in the global ranking. However, it is still faster than the iPhone 14 Pro Max when it comes to both wireless and wired charging.
